The Night the Crayons Rocked
Last night the children were very excited to perform in front of a very special audience, their parents and this was reflected in their super performance. Many of them wanted to repeat the show straight away. This morning they reflected on the show and completed a self assessment. All the children judged their individual performance and their collaboration with others as a success. I have received positive feedback many parents and teachers and I know we are all proud of the effort that the children put into the show and it was a great success.

Now we can all relax, stop counting beats in our sleep and get back to our normal schedule after the Chinese New Year break. Please remove the tape from the t-shirts, wash the t-shirts and leggings and return the costumes when school resumes.
Chinese New Year Break
This morning the children were the audience and watched a variety of Chinese New Year performances under the Plaza Tent. There was a festive atmosphere and a sea of red and gold. Audrey's mum, Catherine, visited the classroom before lunch to share some facts about Chinese New Year. Catherine also gave the children some traditional New Year treats as well as some cookies from Shoken's mum, Chris. The treats were appreciated by the children and you might find some remnants in your child's bag today.
Enjoy your break whatever you are doing and keep safe and well.
