Happy New Year

Term 2 is off to a busy start. The children are preparing for the upcoming Arts Festival performance and are rehearsing and demonstrating how resilient they can be when they face new challenges. I am very impressed with their developing dance moves.

Our reading unit is focused on non fiction books and the children are learning many new facts about a wide range of topics. They are reading carefully and sharing what they have learnt with their reading partner. Today the children visited their Grade 5 buddies to teach them about a topic they have been reading about. The Grade 5 buddies listened to the children read one of their poems and helped them think of ways to improve it.

During Discovery Time Mrs Saez has set up activities that may be used to enhance our Arts Festival performance.
